Over the Hills and Far Away

Many have I loved, and many times been bitten

Hole #16
Par 5 1054 Feet Avg. Score 5.8

Over the Hills and Far Away

This brute of a par five plays uphill and downhill the whole way usually from an unlevel lie. Keeping the drive up the right side of the fairway opens up the second shot for an elevated crush, and then downhill to a well-guarded green. Accurate placement of the second shot allows a more manageable third to this guarded basket. Keeping the disc in the fairway is a must for anyone looking to card par or better.

Red Tee

Red Tee distance is 733 Feet.

Fairway

Fairway is straight and carries over multiple ridges.

Green

Basket is nested on the right side gaurded by a couple large trees.

Hazards

No hazards on this hole.

“This course has many different elevation holes on it. Very scenic and requires many different types of shots to score well on the course. The first twelve holes are definitely birdie able. You'll need them for the last 6 holes. Holes 13-18 are the longest part of the course and require the utmost accuracy to score well. My favorite course in North Louisiana!!!”
